Cristian Dominguez has officially told me to write here more often.
This is extremely difficult for me, as my life isn't the most fascinating, and I seldom have any blog-worthy news that nobody has heard about yet. I'm no Perez Hilton.
But I guess I can't refuse a challenge*.
Guess what, people. Winter break is in 123 days.
I'm still not used to winter in July. I mean, it's cold (Bah,cold.Not compared to Canada), but in Toronto people are tanning, swimming, and just having all the fun they can have before September starts. And Christmas in the summer!! Whoever thought of that?? How can you expect people to decorate christmas trees if there are none. Well, I guess there are those artificial 'Connect Branch A with Branch K, then glue on Leaf Y' trees. But one word: ew.
When I was small, Christmas for me meant snow, sledding, Santa Claus in appropiate weather attire and well, gifts of course :) And a family dinner thay always ended with all the neighbours auto-inviting themselves for a party at our house. That was always fun. Plus I got to drink champagne at nine years old and I felt oh-so-grown-up.
It's getting colder little by little here in Buenos Aires. And I forgot my school sweater in the bus. I hate our uniform. It's like tree meets paperbag. The other day I was window shopping, and I saw a green sweater that looked suspiciously like the one girls at our school need to wear, and it cost $600. What's next, everyone wearing disgusting brown oxfords, the ones I so-rebelliously replaced with shiny flats?
The world just gets uglier every day.
*yes,this is a challenge for me.
